Summer Children's Theater
The idea behind The Grand's Summer Children's Theater is "kids supporting kids." Participants who are able to make a suggested donation of $5, or any size donation they feel they can afford, (entertainment of the same caliber at other theatres may cost a minimum of $10 a ticket!) make it possible for peers from all socio-economic backgrounds to attend. Not only do children who support The Grand's Summer Children's Theatre get to experience the performing arts and visit a national historic landmark, they get to feel good about what they are doing. All donations received directly support The Grand Opera House and its arts education programs.
