Why Support The Grand?Donors play a vital role in The Grand Opera House's ability to exist as Delaware's Center for the Performing Arts. Ticket sales through performances and earned income account for only half of The Grand Opera House's operating budget, while the balance must be raised through donations. For every dollar The Grand spends on providing arts education programs and diverse, quality performances to our community, 50¢ must be raised from tax-deductible contributions.It is through the generosity of our donors that The Grand Opera House is able to continue fulfilling its mission of presenting a wide array of artistically acclaimed performers, creating culturally literate generations of audiences through our Arts Education Programs and preserving one of Delaware's most beloved architectural landmarks.
