Driving Directions and Parking Information
The Grand is located on Market Street Mall, a pedestrian walkway, between 8th
and 9th Streets. Parking is available on the surrounding streets, in the
Wilmington Parking Authority Garage below the hotel at 7th and King Streets, the
Colonial Midtown Garage at 815 N. Shipley Street, and in the Wilmington Parking
Authority Open Lot at 8th and Orange Streets.
Driving Instructions from Philadelphia and Points North
- Once in Delaware, take I-95 South to the second Delaware Avenue exit (Exit 7A).
- Go straight through eight lights.
- Turn right onto King Street.
- Pass three lights to the Doubletree Hotel (formerly Spencer Hotel on 7th Street). Parking is available in
the Wilmington Parking Authority garage, just passed the Doubletree on the
left.
- The Grand is located at 818 North Market Street, between 8th and 9th
Streets. Parking is also available on the surrounding streets and in the
Wilmington Parking Authority Open Lot at 8th and Orange Streets.

Driving Instructions from Washington D.C. and Points South
- Take I-95 North to Exit 6 (Martin Luther King Boulevard).
- At the end of the ramp, take a right at the light on to Maryland Avenue.
- Turn right at the next light onto Martin Luther King Boulevard, stay in the
center lane and follow to Market Street.
- Turn left onto Market Street and follow to 7th Street.
- Turn right onto 7th Street and cross over King Street, straight into the
Doubletree Hotel (formerly Spencer Hotel) parking garage.
